Working breeds from people who care.

Here at gunnerdale we have owned working gun dogs for over 20 years.

We are a small non-commercial family kennel based in a village 15 min from Durham called Stanley (crook) we are surrounded by wonderful countryside that is ideal for walking and training our dogs.

We keep Labrador retrievers, golden retrievers,and working cocker spaniels. And spend many hours working, exercising and walking our dogs, We are members of the TTT field trial club and many local shoots., we are also keen members of the Crook and district dog training club, socializing,
obedience and agility.

All of our dogs have the relevant health checks for there breed, Labradors and our golden retrievers are all hip scored and eye tested we also eye test our cocker spaniels, breeding to the kennel club guidelines. We breed 2/3 quality litters of puppies each year and sometimes have puppy’s available.

All of our dogs and puppies have excellent kind gentle natures being used to children and other pets, puppies are suitable for both working homes but also make ex family pets
Our dogs are not just our hobby but are a major part of our family life butmost of all our best friends.
